The Apostle Peter, son of Jonin and brother of St. Andrew, was a fisherman from Bethsaida. The Lord Jesus Christ called it Cyphom (Petrom) - “stone.” He was the first to publicly confess his faith in Christ as the Son of God. Even though we were in the midst of suffering three times he denied the Lord, he sincerely repented. The Holy Spirit of the Apostle became a fearless preacher. In Jerusalem, one man turned a blind eye to three thousand people. It has spoken through Palestine, Asia Minor, Illyricum and Italy and has done many miracles. He suffered in Rome for the boiling king Nero, after his own iron plan turned upside down, he considered himself unworthy to die as the Lord Christ. The Holy Apostle Paul, born as Saul of Tarsus from the tribe of Benjamin, was a Pharisee and at first a zealous persecutor of Christians. He spoke wonderfully when the Lord appeared to him at the putu for Damascus. He received baptisms from the apostle Ananias by Paul and by a most learned apostle. With great zeal he preached from Arabia to Spain, among Jews and Gentiles, for which he was called the Apostle of the Gentiles.
